430 is hardly scary but will make for a very nice and peppy daily driver. The V-Pro should make the car run very smoothly and safely.

I take that Sharifs reputation is still excellent...as was the case when I was modding my G 35 2 years ago.

Just changed out the wheels to RE30 Limited. The fitment is absolutely stunning. Running a 19X10 and 19X11 with 295/30/19 in the rear. and 265/30/19 rear.

I thought turbos on 5AT's would mess with the integrity of the trans? How did you guys cope with that?

Awesome job to Forged Performance for the great job on a 5AT G! How far are you guys from Newnan, GA? I'm usually there on business once a month it would be cool to get out there and chat with ya on how i can proceed with my 5AT

Also, Woot!! for fellow Texas G driver!!

Newnan is 39 miles southwest of ATL....according to mapquest. That's a quick drive without traffic.

In regards to the trans, the stock trans will hold up fairly well, with just a VB upgrade and some good cooling at this power level. Of course, a built trans will shift harder, faster, and last longer. This winter, Doug is thinking of bring the car back, for a BBK, trans upgrade, and cranking up the boost.

Thanks Sharif for the advice. I'm confused though when you stated his engine was "forged" though. What did you guys do to it?

Next time i'm out in Newnan I'll be sure to drop by the shop and say hello!

By "forged" I meant that the bottom end had forged internals in it..pistons and rods. But it was not a Forged Performance engine. The engine was assembled elsewhere..not really sure where.
