430 is hardly scary but will make for a very nice and peppy daily driver. The V-Pro should make the car run very smoothly and safely.
I take that Sharifs reputation is still excellent...as was the case when I was modding my G 35 2 years ago.

How far are you guys from Newnan, GA? I'm usually there on business once a month it would be cool to get out there and chat with ya on how i can proceed with my 5AT

Newnan is 39 miles southwest of ATL....according to mapquest. 
That's a quick drive without traffic.
In regards to the trans, the stock trans will hold up fairly well, with just a VB upgrade and some good cooling at this power level. Of course, a built trans will shift harder, faster, and last longer. This winter, Doug is thinking of bring the car back, for a BBK, trans upgrade, and cranking up the boost.
