Looking for info on Nitrous.

I am considering putting nitrous in my car, and I have searched for information here and on my350z.com, but can't come up with solid answers.

The ZEX kit seems to be pretty good, as does the NX kit, but I can't seem to figure out which one would be better and why. I am also confused trying to figure out which kit would work for the car. I assume any EFI 'wet' kit will work, but they range in price from $400 up to $1200. I know I need one with a fuel solenoid and a nitrous solenoid. Then of course the bottle/mounting and 12' feed line. THen I know I also need a pin switch for WOT so it only comes on when I want it to. Then I might want to get a remote bottle opener and of course I want a bottle blanket. But is that really it? I don't need/want a purge valve.

Is there anything else that I am missing? Does anyone have any part numbers for the different kits that are needed and also some links to decent places to buy them? I am still in the research stage right now, but I think i'll be getting a kit before the summer is over. I plan on only running a 75 shot and trying to get deep into the 13's with that, sound feasible?

Why don't you want the purge valve? If you're looking to get into the 13s, you want the system to work optimally...The purge valve is actually very useful, and can only help the kit's performance

The reason I don't want a purge valve is because I don't think it is worth it (money wise), so get the little extra power that 'may' come from it. Who is to say that there is going ot be a bubble in the line when I use the nitrous? So maybe on my first run I will get a time that is .1 sec slower than on my second run when the lines are fully cleaned from the run before. Does that make sense or am I being stupid? I am not too sure about the whole thing but I assume that I will just run a little rich if there is any air in the lines since the same amount of fuel would be put into the motor, but just less nitrous.

Nah, opinions don't make anyone stupid- if you feel you don't need it, you don't need it...You can always pick one up later and install it...
