I concur with nuclearcarnie. You must stay out of boost in order to maximize mpg, whether you go quick or not. Keep that engine load low and monotonous at a cruising speed and you will see gains. I cringe at the fact people are getting 16 mpg with these gas prices. YIKES!

I get about 200 mi/tank. I haven't guaged it, but that figure is also with alot of the time at 140 mph.

conclusions on fi mpg:

1. turbo > sc because you can stay out of boost.
2. if you drive hard, you're screwed anyway.

n/a i average 17-18 mpg beating on my car so it all comes down to how you drive really.
