Thumbs up Thinkin about Greddy upgrade

Hello all. I have an 03 G35 with 75000 in mint condition. I want to keep it running as long as it will go but also want to consider putting in a stillen or greddy air cooler/turbo charger. any thoughts on how this would affect the engine life and how good the install is?

stillen is a supercharger ang greddy is a tt so there is quite a bit more research you should look into doing.

It really depends on how much money you are willing to spend. The Stillen supercharger is pretty much plug and play with little tuning (if any) needed. If you go turbo you will need to make sure you get a good tune or your engine could go boom. I believe most people with turbo's are spending 10k plus with install and a good tune. The Stillen can be self installed in your garage and I believe it starts around 4k. You can ultimately get more power from a turbo than Stillen, but with a motor that has 75K on it you will quickly run into reliability issues if you run the boost a turbo can produce. I am not an expert, but that is the little knowledge I have and it might be flawed.

You should post in the correct location also or it will be moved. Also you will want to let them know if you are 6MT or auto. Here is the correct place to ask this kind of question: https://g35driver.com/forums/forced-induction-24/

Search forced induction threads here as well as on My350z.com. Research is the key.

Z1 Motorsports has a good deal on APS single turbo kits.

Trust filed in Japan. Greddy US says it's business as usual for them.

I would.

But only for something even better like the APS Extreme kit or SFR twins.

Read these threads, they will answer many questions that you may have:

I wouldn't recommend pushing a stock block beyond about 400-430 hp. If you do, the stock rods probably won't last long.
