Unhappy I think I bought a dealer destroyed boosted G

Thread being continued from another one of my posts.

So the story is I showed up at the dealer the week after this car arrived. They were asking MSRP for this 2007 6MT Coupe with a ton of extras (turbo included, intercooler, boost controller, turbo timer, eibach springs, greddy brakes, borla TD exhaust, other misc). Bout $20k worth I'd say (including install costs). The dealer intended on removing all the parts and selling them separately on eBay and just selling the car stock. The injectors were the first things they did, but afterward, for some reason, decided to try to drive the car around still (perhaps 10 - 20 miles worth). When that ran like crap, they started tweaking computer settings to get it to run OK but couldn't do it (obviously). That basically immobilized the car. ECU wouldn't let the car go over 3,000RPMs actually.

I had the car delivered to this speed shop (JE Import Performance <--Freakin awesome with Nissan/Infinity btw.) and they put the injectors back in along with some other misc items (spacers that had been left out by dealer, cracked o-ring replacements). Seems to run pretty good after this. They entered tuning mode and then through it on the dyno after some quick adjustments. Air/Fuel is at a good place. Results of dyno were 310WHP at 8PSI (strangely low). Unfortunately I don't know anything else about this motor (whether it was detonated or rebuilt as low compression). Speed shop was out of time but they suggest a compression test next.

Other note: in about 200 miles, I've refilled the coolant reservoir twice. Can't be good, right?

Thoughts?

UPDATE: Pics of car on bottom of page 2.

Well if the dealer changed out bigger injectors for stock injectors, chances are the car went waaaay lean....and we all know how they drive cars at dealerships..

I'd do a compression test, but I'm guessing head gasket....
If you're not leaking the coolant, your motor is eating it. Any smoke or smells?

Do you have anything in writing from the dealer saying that they're warranting the car or was it purchased AS-IS?

Nah, no warranty on anything that's been modded. Standard void there. I had to accept that stipulation for them to include the parts.

No smoke or smells at all. No leaks under the car.

Check for compression. What condition is your radiator cap in?

Dealer cant even fix the axle tick so why would you buy an FI'd car from the dealer and on top of that have them touch it. Trust me 99% of the employee there took a joy ride on your car before they gave that to you... Rule is always do a leak down/compression test before buying a car with an aftermarket turbo.

Wow ... MSRP huh? I'm guessing the shop you took it to would have recommended testing the motor first before playing around with tuning it, so you may want to check with them to see.

I'm curious to see if any internal work was done (pistons and / or heads). Did the dealer give you any history on the car? Not too many people would boost an 07 that is still under warranty. A single turbo on an HR is quite an undertaking. Any pics of the motor and/or the car?
