What can I expect with this setup?

If you buy the car, you'll have just gotten it out of a shop that confirms the car is in excellent (or not) working order. That'd make me feel alot better if i was gonna drive it a long way back to home, thats for sure.
Another thought is, after buying the car, have you considered having it transported? Beautiful looking car and our paint has been known to chip easily not to mention the state of the roads in between point a and point b.
Obviously,transporting it is up to you but if I were buying a show quality car, I'd do everything I can to keep it in the show quality condition.
I'd do the garage thing regardless and especially if I planned on driving it home.

It is still in the condition it was in when it was on the show circuit (minus the stickers). After retiring the car it has basically been sitting in his garage, rarely driven. I was looking for a used G and I was very excited to come across this car. It already has some very quality parts on it and it has low mileage! I am hoping to fly out and pick it up next weekend.

Thanks for the advice I will talk to him about it. I thought about shipping it originally but decided it would be nice to take a little road trip before I deploy. I will make sure to slap on the blue tape lol. I plan on actually driving this car once I get it so I am sure it will get it's share of rock chips before I am done with it.

Here are a few pics of my old car if anybody was curious. I was recently rear ended and the car was totaled which I why I am looking for something new. It's no Infiniti/Nissan but I do miss it lol.
