Going Back to STOCK!
So I'm thinking of returning the car to stock and starting over with a different look. Here's a list of parts:
THIS IS NOT A PARTING OUT THREAD! THIS THREAD IS TO HELP ME FIGURE OUT HOW INVOLVED UNINSTALLING ALL THE LISTED PARTS WILL BE!!!!!
ATI Procharger
720cc injectors
walbro fuel pump
SGP Racing return fuel system
UTEC
Gauge pod/gauges
SGP Racing biult tranny
6spd rearend
test pipes
So, if I take the supercharger, injectors an return fuel system off can I just leave the UTEC in and retune for a stock NA? Or should I take it all off and hope the stock computer can compensate back to normal? What about the fuel pump? Can I leave it, or is it best to go back to the stock one? Will the Walbro 255 be too much fuel with a stock system?
I'll be keeping the car, and don't know about other peoples transmissions and how well they've been taken care of. I guess the biult tranny will just last longer?
Just trying to get a feel and se if anyone can think of something I can't. I know there will probably be a **** ton of small peices I'll be missing after everything is unistalled, but hoping maybe I can get the from whoever would buy the kit.
Thanks for the help!

I guess it's time to actually have some real fun and tear it up a little.... maybe... I'm looking around at options...
Homie!!!!! Duude just drop your car off at the shop, get a turbo/ or new SC and sell your procharger. You can spend the money your about to spend on removing and replacing parts on that instead, and still get money from selling your procharger etc. Win win situation man.

Lol, see, exactly. I've been told there are 7 different valvebody designs (I'm guessing [1]2003, [2]2003.5, [3]2004, [4]2004.5, [5]2005 [6]2006 [7]and one more year or a half?) I don't know if any are compatable back and forth and so on. So I don't know if I did trade trannys if that person HAD to have a 2004.5 like me, or not.
Some guys are pretty big into drifting here, I've riden shotgun and it seems like fun. Plus I don't drive the car at all... and it'd be so much easier to take it to school or whatever without a fiberglass body kit and if I got a door ding... who cares! It's a drift car.. they are supposed to show wear and tear.
Again, just throwing around ideas.... but it seems like a better thing to do the more I think about it. Anyways, the car has enough power stock to get in some good drifts.. I don't think the extra HP is needed, just the right suspension and rear end setup instead. Plus FI cars don't like bouncing off the rev limiter as much as NA.

you're going to one of those urges to make a change, i get different ideas all day. Just rellaaax and drive the car more often. Dude your boosted, thats already something that alot of people here wished they could do, not only that your ride looks badasss man, dont forget that. Spend more time and enjoy it, so little miles!!!! Thats my opinion. You wan't a beater to drift, get a 240 or something, not your precious g!

I DD a MRS that I also use for autox... just on the side, nothing serious. I've done the straightline "fast" thing... getting old. I never even go fast in it, lmao. So I figure, well drifting is the next thing.
One concerned member already PMed me. So I told him another option is to trade both cars and get a Caddy truck, totally switch it up. In which case, I'll keep the car until F&F4 comes out and I can try to sell it to some rich 16/17 yr old for more than it's worth....
haa!
Keep the technicals coming guys. Need help on what to do about fuel, etc., etc.... I have a box full of engine parts (bolts, screwed, plates...) that I have NO idea what to do with. I don't know if they are taken off because of the SC or what....
