im dont plan on turning this car into a racecar or anything i just want a nice car i love the evo and everything about it but its time for a nice change. im very interested in this boosted g and i think im going to do it. im not trying to say that nothings going to be wrong with this car because i know its not like that. my evo had many many problems when i got it but i enjoy fixing that stuff im a mechanic its just what i do its what i love doin. i dont mind fixing the problems the car may have. what i need to do is do more research on the g and the 3.5. i want to build the motor i want to do that first. i need to get some time and figure out what the best way to go with the block and if its just as simple as getting pistons and rods or if the block simply just wont hold. thanks for all of your imput hopefully everything works out for me haha

For all turbo kits you have to find the trouble spots and take appropriate measures during the install. No exceptions. The TN kit will be limited in terms of max power - that's the only drawback I see, given a proper install. The powerlab kit is the single turbo kit of choice, with the most potential at this point.
I pulled through like a champ and had it towed 60 miles and replaced it with a 99 Civic SS front brake line and made it back. So now I have an extra clutch line sence brake lines come in pairs

I have plenty of friends that have or had the TN kit. If you are in it for monster power gains the TN kit is not the kit for you. I picked up a TN kit recently along with a built motor. I will be happy with 450whp. I mean seriously where are you going that you need 500whp+ Unless your tracking your car IMO the TN kit serves it's purpose well. Like any other kit out there you may not have problems right off the bat but eventually you will. I;ve had friends with TT kits blow hose clamps and melt some lines but what can you say problems come with any FI'd car that is not from the factory.

I bought the Turbonetics kit for my 03 6mt and I love it ,drves great, idles normal, temps all run great,I have an assload of gauges to tell me so.The only prblem with the kit is that you must re-engineer a few things and the owners manual SUCKS,use a braided steel line on the wastegate with proper fittings, heatwrap the downpipe, wrap the a/c hose about 3 times, and fab a proper bracket for it,use a catch can off the valve cover vent so no oil on the maf,and a few more things,I may rewrite the manual and supply all of the extra parts if anyone wants it.but all in all I love the kit.city, highway it drives really normal.and it brakes loose a 275 rear tire woo-hoo , well one downfall fuel economy suck worse than the normal suckage but I honestly could care less about the price of fuel when you are having fun,if I want good fuel economy I will drive my Altima SE-R ,oh wait that one suck too.

All in all a decent kit that requires a proper install, and you must be a mechanical kind of guy to own one, most of the t/n haters on here do so because they read it on the interwebs and it never lies!

Go to my350z.com, register, log in, and start searching. Tons of info.

Proper install is very important with this kit.
