Evo's are boosted from the factory, G's are not. If you run an Evo's stock boost on a G, you're gonna need a new engine very quickly.

Do some more research, and see if the car is right for you.

The Turbonetics ST generally is not considered as good as the TT kits out there.

Then again, it's all in the tune, right?

I have the TN kit on my 04 sedan and have had zero problems or complaints. Most of the guys on here will blast on the TN kit and say stay away, they can't make power, under hood temp are to high, etc.

Like I said I have had mine for a year and beat it to death and have had no problems. The tune is the biggest thing you need to worry about. Have a good/respectable tuner tune it and no problems. I had JT at Performance Factory do mine and I am very happy with it!!

What about that clutch line bro at ZdayZ?

For all turbo kits you have to find the trouble spots and take appropriate measures during the install. No exceptions. The TN kit will be limited in terms of max power - that's the only drawback I see, given a proper install. The powerlab kit is the single turbo kit of choice, with the most potential at this point.

I would agree with that, powerlab does seem to be the kit of choice of a lot of people.

The kit is a good kit, with proper tuning.

With that said, would I or most people here buy a G35 that has been boosted?

Not a chance. You don't know how the car has been treated. You don't know how well it is tuned, unless you get it tuned yourself. It is WAY too big of a risk with buying a new car. You could buy it, drive it for a week and then you could pop your motor. G's and EVO'S are COMPLETELY different. You can run max of 8-10lbs on a stock block G and thats still not safe, I wouldn't personally run past 7 (what I'm at now).

It doesn't matter if its Turbonetics, Vortech, Stillen, Procharger, Powerlabs, JWT, APS, HKS, etc...I would NOT buy a boosted G35, and I highly recommend anyone to do the same...

If it's got a built motor, I'd still consider it because of the cost savings. I'd do a dyno, leakdown+compression test, used oil analysis and you should be good to go.
