don't be a wuss. everyone in every field goes through a ridiculous amount of BS and politics. Stuff that you've listed isn't a hardship out of the norm. Maybe stay away from the hardcore builds til money starts generating again or something. gotta weather the storm and toughen yourself up to see the reward.

this is half the reason I never brought my car to MRC (20 min away from my home) and brought it to a shop further away that had a more professional and classy act. I could tell this shop was a shady joint from the start operating out of a barn & having terrible customer service at best when I went there twice. Glad you got your $900 back haha.. but Julian you have a decent name on here don't go trash yours at TurboTrix the worst shop in the history of tuner shops in NJ

I dont understand your post.....are you say you did not go to MRC because of bad customer service ...and that Turbotrix is bad and their shop is in a barn And that you went to a shop with "more professional and classy act"

I dont understand what you are saying

XKR- what isnt there to get? they had a snotty attitude from the first time I went there. They ran a messy, dirty, unclassy acting business. there stuff was very scattered, very dirty, cheap looking, with workers that didnt seem to give two ****s about there job.
And on top of that they have little 15 yr old bull**** going on there with people stealing money out of peoples jackets. Trusting your business partner is the first thing that should be established before you even open doors for business. simple rule of thumb

I dont think Forged looked like that. and if they did would you have brought your car there? (XKR) & hundreds of other - another great classy act is GTM

O and as for TurboTrix don't get what you missed on that either XKR- they suck as well. Ask people from NJ area

Anyways MRC sucks/sucked glad there gone byebye

He said "Turbotrix" in NJ. I've never heard of them, but Japtrix isn't there.

Some of the negative comments about Japtrix is kind of funny to me. I have been dealing with Japtrix since April doing all kinds of different things to my car, and they have been great to work with. I have had nothing but good experiences with them. I threw so many changes at them as we proceeded with my build (I started with a 400 hp goal, then went to 500, then to 600, then to 650, etc.), they have taken it all in stride.

Moreover, Nate did a great job on my build. I also gave him a pretty complicated wiring diagram for a bunch of electrical stuff that I wanted done, and he did a tremendous job

As far as tune goes, Jack really knows how to pull hp out of a car, and Roger is good at getting a tune really smooth for street driving. But if you go in their wanting to only pay for an hour of two of dyno time, that's not enough to get a good tune. It takes time and you need to be willing to pay for it.

He did a good job with my car. We got to 584 on pump gas and a good 700-1000 rpm shy of my rev limit, but we had to stop because my tires were slipping on the dyno and it started to chew them up a bit.

They now have my old wheels/tires that I don't care about, so I told Jack to see where it will go. I'll post my results next week.

After Jack is done on the dyno, then Roger will jump in the car with me and do the road tuning.
