Forged block, 11 psi, FCON VPRO results

I know I don't post here a whole bunch, but I've been around for awhile. My line of work takes me out of the country quite a bit. My old setup was 3.12 pulley, SS Box, stock exhaust. I made 340 rwhp and 320 ft/lbs tuned by GRD in Chicago. I had them tune conservatively based on the high mileage on the car, which was +88k at the time. I had already had the Vortech installed for over a year and 18k miles. The car was tuned on 93 octane, but I recently relocated to San Diego and started using 91 octane. Long story short, I broke a ring land during a 4th gear pull. I never got retuned for 91, so I blame myself. I could've gotten alot more miles out of the old stock block, but at 93k miles, a rebuild was in my future anyway. Without further ado, here are the results. The new setup is a GTM Basic longblock, GTM N/A Cams, 2.87 pulley making 11 psi, Stillen TD exhaust, HKS FCON VPRO, and JWT Clutch and Flywheel. The power is very smooth. I'm having some issues with the idle, but Sam will take a look at it soon.

Looks good. Any belt slippage with the 2.87 pulley or did u get the extra GTM pulley? Once u get tire of that setup I would look into getting a T trim blower and it should get u closer to the 500whp range. Have fun.

Ooops! I forgot to mention the GTM pulley mod, so no belt slippage. Sam told me there's definitely room to make more power, so 500 whp is not out of the questions. I'm also running 800 cc injectors. I'm still trying to get used to the power, so I'm happy...for now.

Yes, a 6MT and I was astonished how smooth Sam got the power down.
