Actually, they have already been sold.

That's why I need the money for new wheels.

Quote: someone sent me 10 cents thru paypal and paypal took the whole 10 cents!
Quote: I've decided that I want to convert my G to a twin-charged motor based on an LS9, with two big-@ss turbos feeding the blower. To keep the weight distribution in check, I've decided to go with a Ferrari twin clutch rear mounted transmission/transaxle.

Also, I've decided that I want to hire Pininfarina to sculp a new body design using the basic G35 lines, but making it more Pinanfarina like. All of the body panels will be made of carbon fiber, titanium and/or some other exotic materials (maybe even balsa wood cores ).

Of course, I can't afford to do all of this, but please send me money and, when I have received enough to pay for it, I'll proceed with the project and post pictures for you all to druel over.

I was thinking of shipping it to McClaren. I'm guessing this is going to cost millions and millions of dollars (and Euros). So please start donating.

I'm going to have several donar brackets. For those in the top bracket who donate at least $500,000, I'm going to let them borrow my car for a weekend HPDE event. For those who donate at least $1,000,000, I'm going to let them borrow my car for 1 week, and for those who donate at least $10,000,000, I'm going to let them borrow my car for 3 months. Of course, they must have a suitable insurance policy in place to build another one of my car gets demolished.

Alternatively, if someone would donate to me a Corvette ZR1, a GTR Spec V, an Audi R8 V10, any Lamborghini (e.g. Reventon, Murcielago LP640, Gallardo LP560-4), any Ferrari (e.g. 430 Scuderia, Enzo, 599 GTB Fiorano, California, 612 Scaglietti), Bugatti Veyron or Saleen S7R, I'll also thank them by letting them borrow the car for a month. Again, suitable insurance would be needed.

Huh?
Quote: haha yea.. i didnt do it on my own :P i work 20-30 hours a week though with school 5 days a week, so it's not like I don't have money, but I definitely could not afford my G or a supercharger w/o help haha
How the heck could you afford the G then? If you wanted FI maybe you should have gotten a cheaper or older car then went FI? I think your priorities are mixed up...especially being only 17. I was rocking an '84 accord when I was 17 so I have no sympathy for your situation lol

If you can't afford to blow >20k, then DONT DO IT. Why do people INSIST on living beyond their means, and then complain when it comes back to bite them in the a$$?

If I were you, I would invest your savings... now is the perfect time to do it, especially since you're 17. Don't be an idiot, bro....

aha i know.. this thread wasn't really meant to get any sympathy.. honestly I don't think I will ever boost my G just because it's not economically logical. all of the money gets blown into this car and then it just lowers the seller value and could potentially blow the engine.. IMO the only way to go faster in the G is to do N/A mods or get a new car :-/ but then you're still talking about a huge investment into something that will never yield an even gain with what you put in

Rule number one in cars...no car is an investment no matter what you do or don't do to it...LOL

Sell the G, buy a beater, and invest the cash in a mutual fund or put it towards your education. now's the time to make smart moves in your life dude. boosting a G isn't one of them...boost your career instead
