Good and helpful point.

eBay is a market place where buyers and sellers meet. And as such, there are bound to be good and bad transactions.

Although I am new to the G35, I am pretty fluent on Force Induction, having been modifying my Eclipse GSX for the past 8 years. From my experience I can tell you that the specialty shops/vendors are good at what they do and have done a lot of R&D on the product they sell. Nevertheless, they do not manufacture the parts that they sell as a kit (besides pipe fabrications). This means we can also buy the same parts (the right parts, that is), and installing them or at least supervise their installation.

It is my hope that the enthusiasm on this car continues to grow and thus increasing the knowledge base for those of us who wants to venture into DIY. With the right know-how, one can buy the optimum parts, from wherever they see it fit, including eBay.

In my search on this site, I have so far found one member (redzzand) who has so far done his own FI mod. I am still researching, reading and keeping an open mind...

Wow!!! Finally someone who did some searching before posting his Very First Post!! Props to you coz most of the newb here create thread or post without even doing a single search. By they way there is also another person here who did his own kit and he bought everything from Ebay. He basically just followed the TN kit piping and his custom kit actually made more power with lower boost than the TN kit, and it for less than half the cost. Dont know though if the turbo is still running...lol

POPTARTS is broke and a scammer... took $50 from me and didnt ship me my part. Its clear if the guy is broke enough to scam over $50 then hes just bright enough to buy a $700 turbo kit.
