Battery Drain
theres a slow draw on my battery because of the supercharger and other electronic stuff installed. I need to plug it in every week or so to make sr theres enough juice there when i need it. Is there a specific or special type of battery i can get that willl have enough or more power. I hate having to plug it in. Do you guys have the same problem with ure's ?

Never had this problem before too but this past 3 weeks I had to jump start my car when it sits for more than 6 days. I only drive on the weekend for the most part and my car always start up fine even in the Winter or even if my car is sitting for almost 2 weeks. I guess I'll need a new battery soon.. Well we had the worst winter in 5 years here in the NE so that could be the problem too...

Friday I'm gonna hook the multimeter up to check and be sure the alternator is working. I'm almost 100% sure it is because you can start it an infinite number of times as long as you don't let it sit for 5 days... so something small is drawing off of it while it sits. I don't even have to charge the battery, just plug it in while I start it and won't have any issues all weekend.
Edit: This issue all the sudden appeared when the car sat for about a month while moving and it sat in my grandmas garage... I was thinking maybe a rat chewed a wire and it's shorting... but never found it and can't see any other damage a rat would have done over the course of 40 some-odd-days.

I had this problem with my last battery. I have so many aftermarket electronics on my car they will kill the battery over time. I went out of town and didn't drive my car for over a month. My optima red top was dead ~3V and my charger could not bring it back to life, nor could optima. I got a new one and make sure to pull the negative terminal if I am going away for more than a week. Things have been fine since.
Just because you don't have that many miles doesn't mean your battery isn't in need of replacement.
