Battery Drain

theres a slow draw on my battery because of the supercharger and other electronic stuff installed. I need to plug it in every week or so to make sr theres enough juice there when i need it. Is there a specific or special type of battery i can get that willl have enough or more power. I hate having to plug it in. Do you guys have the same problem with ure's ?

Are you sure its not just your battery not holding charge When your car is running...what is your voltage reading. 13? 14?

im not sure what the coltage readng is, when i bought the car the battery was already changed. Its not the stock battery. And the car only has 46,000 kms on it so im guessing my battery wouldnt go bad that quickly, or can they? If im not mistaken i think its actually a dry cell battery

Never had this problem before too but this past 3 weeks I had to jump start my car when it sits for more than 6 days. I only drive on the weekend for the most part and my car always start up fine even in the Winter or even if my car is sitting for almost 2 weeks. I guess I'll need a new battery soon.. Well we had the worst winter in 5 years here in the NE so that could be the problem too...

I had this problem with my last battery. I have so many aftermarket electronics on my car they will kill the battery over time. I went out of town and didn't drive my car for over a month. My optima red top was dead ~3V and my charger could not bring it back to life, nor could optima. I got a new one and make sure to pull the negative terminal if I am going away for more than a week. Things have been fine since.

Just because you don't have that many miles doesn't mean your battery isn't in need of replacement.
