Wow thanks for the info.. exactly the kind of stuff i was looking for. NO matter how little its a change and needs to be addressed ahead of time.

Thank you so much for the info, anything else you can think of?

Pics of the PULLEY Change

Here are Pics From DenverInfinti he is working on my 07' Unamed-1 is the 06' pulley pic. Unamed is the 07'. there are some noticeable differences. I think we should get Vortech to give us some kind of a deal for creating the "guide for the 07' 6mt and 5at."

Yikes! if pulleys are in different locations, that would most certainly effect the SC. right?

We should call them and see if they can offer some guidance.. they have already confirmed with me that they haven't done it.

The right picture is the 06. The left is the 07. The pulleys arent in different places, the one is just missing. If you look at the belt diagram you'll see which pulley it is that missing. I'm thinking with a shorter belt we'll be just fine. If nothing else, the missing pulley assy. could just be added back in. I'll get a price on the pulley setup tomorrow at work.

So if the pulley is missing, and we would need a shorter belt, i wonder if that would effect the overall engineering of the Vortech kit. If its a matter of just getting a shorter belt thats great but its the design aspect that concerns me.

And can that pulley be added back in? are there brackets and such for it on the 07 engine? This does seem like an option.. we should speak to Vortech and see what they think because i want the car to last for a while.

If the pulley is just missing and you can go with a shorter belt then it won't affect the durability of the motor or how long it will last. Also if you're running a bracket from the 06 then the mounting hole for the missing pulley will be there anyway so adding or removing the pulley is a simple matter of pushing it on or prying it off. Seems like your biggest point of concern is going to be finding the proper size belt

Its actually the pulley and the hub it runs on. All the attachment points are there though. Some people with 03-06's have removed it. Look up pulley delete mod. Just not sure if anyone has ran a vortech after doing the delete

How much for this pulley? wouldn't it be the safer route to add it back on and have it installed that way? wouldn't removing a pulley mess with timing?

Please let me know as im going to need to get one ASAP.

I'm starting to think, just getting a replacement pulley would be in our best interest. Shortening the belt could cause some serious issues. I called a local Infiniti dealer to see how much the pulley would be. This may be the safer route to take. waiting to hear back .

Its really just a idler pulley. The belt just runs across it. No real purpose now that the mechanical fan is gone. As for a belt was just thinking could probably run say the belt for the next size smaller pulley on the stock pulley. Heres the Part numbers and prices for the parts. Pulley 21051-4p110 $58.00. Bracket 21046-4p100 79.00. And Since I'm not sure if nissan used shorter bolts. Bolts 31377-4w000 $4

I'm a bit confused. Are you trying to install a gen 1 bracket for a standard engine on the Rev-up? Or did you just post a pic of the old bracket for a standard engine for reference?

Do you think a shorter belt would effect its performance? Wouldn't adding back that pulley be the best way to go?

So the pulley is: Pulley 21051-4p110 $58.00
Need a bracket? : Bracket 21046-4p100 79.00
and shorter bolts? shorter bolts. Bolts 31377-4w000 $4
