LMFAO...I'm sure he means 12xx as in 1200 hp. Theres already lots of VQs in the 9s

realy? since when? lol its just a rare sight to see a vq in the 9s

Well I know of at least two....larry has some record for 6mt (9.3) http://www.spracingonline.com/images/news/18.jpg and it was basically the shakedown pass, they're not done yet, and there is another one running 9s with a th350 tranny. I'm really not up on VQs (its just my daily driver) but I talk to Vince (works at SP, we're both into MR2s) regularly and last time I was at SP they were rattling off the stats. I just found it funny you thought it was 12s, or maybe that was sarcasm and I missed it

Long story short. Original name was Sound F/X in 1988, Did high end stereos.... I did all the show cars for Pioneer, I judged IASCA events blah blah blah. Well I bought a 1989 Supra turbo..... I started modifying it... Made 567 RWHP in 1991 which was huge for back then. Some of the performance vendors would not sell to me because they thought I was an audio shop. SO I switched the name to include both sound and performance so I could do both. By about 1995 though we were ALL performance and have never looked back!!

Whats the quickest and fastest auto (OEM or TH400) VQ? And how many Zs/Gs are actually sub 10s?

Inquiring minds wnat to know....

I believe Injected Performance has the fastest TH400 time with 8.89 i think. And Sound Performance has the fastest stock 6 speed/drivetrain time of 9.35.

IP is running a Powerglide trans (2 speed) where the TH400 is a 3 speed.
SP has a TH400 car under construction now too though. So guess they are shooting for fastest 6spd and auto VQ's this season.
