^priorities

plus its just not tires, what bout rims?

you still need at least an 18x10, so you can fit at the very least a 275

when i looked into it, it came to bout ~$800 and for me, it wasnt worth the money at this time

My reason is not just tires, rims and time but the only 2 1/4 mile tracks near me have a heavy police presence so the risk outweighes the timeslip

I am sure I can hit 11's in this car, I have the power and I don't have to shift....lol

I could have hit 11s on my stock block. I'm sure if you had the right tires you could hook up to a mid to low 11s.

I always go with a friend, through my tires and rims in my truck and just put them on at the track.

I bought some cheap 15s and put some M/T slicks on them.. I have to be under 300$ for it.

Granted when I redo my susp / rims ill be gettin some sweet drag rims.. but until then-- I'm just after a slip at the track- dont really care what i look like.

1/4 mile is really for all the nay-sayer's and to just see what mph i can get more than anything.....

My car was built for highway craziness as thats where it is driven 95% of the time....and on the highway its a frickin monster.

g35s are slow and most of us know that...unles you build then you see real speed....so keeping it real and being honest....thought it was some baller/fun shiet to do and to prove....let them know what sup with my car and what im capable of doing...if i could've chose to go fast on the poll I would clicked that too, cause thats another reason why

Yeah well I wanted everyone to pick one for a reason.. The #1 reason why!

They are slow, but I really do submit that these cars are fantastic and can hang with the best <10psi

I'm really surprised there aren't more dyno queens and that theres a lot of just wanna go fasts / baller status.

Thanks for participating everyone.

I love to go fast on the hiway and the track. I take it to the track about 4-5 times a year (closest track to me is about 100miles away) this year when i get running again I hope to get there more. I am hoping to get kicked off our local track quicker than 11.5sec with out a roll cage. I am going to try to do it on street tires and the Altitude i run at is alot slower than most tracks.

Yep- Motor will be done next Friday. Tune will be sat or monday-- and then some body shop work after that.

So I'll run it around for a day or two without a bumper tuned- but It will be picture video time in two weeks or so.

I can't wait to break it in so i can run this thing down the track.
