Significant changes are in progress to my build... I'm still hoping to make Z-days.

GTM 4.0L Stroker Short Block
GTM Stage 3 Twin Turbo Kit with 0.64 A/R

I want to extend a big, big THANK YOU to Sam at GTM for striving to help me make Z-Days and the guys at Japtrix for all the work they have coming down the pipe, which I know they will come through.

Also, we are adding alot of nice engine bay dress-up.

Some other minor changes from my previous build, latest version here at post # 147 http://my350z.com/forum/forced-induc...der-way-8.html:

Arizen Racing Seats with factory Willow leather (Recarro fell through on being able to do the custom seats).

Although we never got a chance to bring the meth on line, this time it will be installed using direct port injection.

I have purchased from Eric (EricisKlumzyee) a TS style rear diffuser and a CS style rear bumper. He should be test fitting them soon on his G, if he has not done so already.

I wish I had japtrix do my motor build- I'd probably be running right now.

Both Sam at GTM and Roger at Japtrix are recommending larger cams for me.

Accordingly, I will sell my JWT C2 cams with only 1,000 miles on them for $900 firm.

Here are their specifications:

11.58 mm Peak Lift
225 deg. Dur. at 0.050" lift
261 deg. Adv. Dur.


If anyone is ready to buy them NOW AND AT THE ASKING PRICE, please PM me. I would like to sell them this week. If they are not sold by the time the heads go back together, I will use them and they will no longer be for sale.

wait you are gonna put the TS diffuser on the chargespeed? cant say i would go the same route, but i'd like to see how it turns out

I have exactly the same concern, which is why Eric is test fitting everything first. I think the more likely scenario is that we will have to modify the bumper by cutting an opening in the lower middle part of the bumper for the air exiting the diffuser, or have Eric make a new bumper modified in this manner. I'm still waiting to hear back from Eric, but we'll see what he comes up with.

Going to 4.0L gives me a 14.2% increase in displacement. That alone should put me at 688 based on my 603 RWHP corrected dyno results on the last build (609 measured). With the addition of the ceramic coating to the combustion chambers, and inside the intake plenum and intake tubes, I am hoping to achieve 700 RWHP on 93 octane, though I may need larger cams to achieve this. When we get meth injection on line, I am hoping for 750 - 800 RWHP. At this point, however, it is all speculation.

Nice build do you have pics of the seats? What happened with Recaro? I am a fellow willow guy I feel your pain I have seen a set of custom black/wheat recaros so i always thought when the time came I would just go with recaro.
