Vortech dyno at Forged

I went down to see Sharif yesterday to get my Vortech tune touched up since I've been dragging the car recently. Just wanted to make sure the #'s were spot on so that would be one less thing to worry about when going down the strip.

Well after a few pulls on his DynoDynamics, Sharif was pleased with how things looked. I was pleased bc I picked up 100hp at 5000 rpms over my previous visit to Forged. Need to find a dynojet and try for the 500 hp club.

had to back calculate the trq bc Sharif's dyno was not plotting it.

nice numbers!! I guess your mind is changed about going turbo (for now)

Were these runs on meth?

Where are you running your car and what were your times? Did you go back to Benson-Dunn?

i fail at racing. before my new clutch it was only 8.47 @89.1. i went last thursday, got 1 shakedown and then it poured so they closed. I'll be back next thurs. I'll prolly order my 28" M&H drag radials next week. then maybe I can get thru the traps in 3rd gear.

I'm pretty keen on getting that built long block from Forged now.

Ya been on meth for the past year. But running non-meth timing as installed the kit bc my AITs were very high.

Those are incredible numbers, probably one of the best or the best power with a Vortech! Congrats! What pulley size are you running?

Is the DD at Forged rectified to read like a Dynojet? If it isn't then he'll be easily in the 500hp.

no, thats a DD #. I still wanna get on a dynojet but i can use that $75 for something else right now. around 15psi, same as those 500 hp vortech builds that GTM did. I think with cams and headers, I could reduce that boost a bunch as thats alot of heat.
