Early 2003 Sedan owners, what do you use for engine management?

I was getting ready to take the plunge and get the Osiris Tuner software ( the $900 package ) for my car to tune it N/A now yet be able to retune it for boost later. The problem is that I just found out that it won't work on early 2003 sedans...and apparently most other options won't either from what I've read.

So what are my choices?

UTEC would require me to cut the stock harness correct ( since my ECU isn't the same as the 03.5+ ones )?

How about Greddy Emanage Ultimate?

Or will I have to spend $2K and go stand alone ( Haltech )?

What have you early 03 sedan owners done to get 500whp?

Where do you live? If you are in SoCal take it to Technosquare for your tune.

I live in Puerto Rico so that's not an option.

Does anyone at least have a wiring diagram so that I can cut the wires and mate a piggyback?

I have the E-Ultimate, but I still had to splice and cut the stock harness. Works great. I have the wiring diagrams if you are up for it...

Please post up the diagram, or send it to me by email ( danbarb2@gmail.com ). I would have rather not cut up the harness but if I must then I must.

Hows the emanage ultimate working out for you? do you consider it inferior to other piggybacks?

Unichip is about as expensive and UTEC...would you think Unichip is better than UTEC. I guess I could search on that.

As soon as I get the wiring diagram I'll see if I can make my own plug adapter.

I'm not sure- I used a unichip for my N/A (and part of F/I) worked out pretty well.

There is no plug and play option for the early sedan I know of. You will have to cut and splice in the EM of your choice.

Hmmm....well I'm starting to get used to that fact and accepting it...lol. I guess all I need now is the wiring diagram.

Also, will at least UpRev's Cipher work?

PM sent for wiring diagram.

The E-Ultimate has bee working very nicely. I can't really comment about its value over another type of piggyback because I haven't used any other one, but it gives me the ability to tune myself and it has excellent reporting capability. I'm very happy with it.
