Which front bumper works best with the APS Extreme TT intercooler?
Update: Guys, since originally starting this thread I've decided to switch to the APS Extreme TT kit vs. the Greddy 20G. While there's still some good info here on which bumper works well with the Greddy 20G kit's Type32 IC, the focus of this thread has changed to identifying those bumpers which maximize airflow and fit nicely over the APS Extreme TT's 5-inch deep vertical flow intercooler instead.
Guys,
I'm getting ready to buy the Greddy 20G TT kit and was wondering which aftermarket front bumper you guys think has the best airflow and aesthetics for the intercooler? It's the XL Type 32R intercooler (with twin inlets).
Right now I've got the Nismo front, which has two cut outs that don't line up well with the Greddy intercooler. I had originally decided that I wanted the JWT TT kit but it's not going to produce the power that I want. Since I'm going with the Greddy now, I need some help picking a more appropriate front bumper that'll line up with that beast of an IC.
Thanks in advance,
B

you only have 4 options
greddy
kurumaZ
top secret
klumzee's K2
just look up the pics of each. they all have about the same opening. just different ride heights and corners.

I really like the Kuruma Z. But after some more digging it looks like Stillen has one that might fit the bill too. Problem is, I can't stand Stillen's customer service, and vowed to boycott their products two years ago.
Hmmm... guess it's the Kuruma Z with mesh grille!

Kuruma front opening is not very tall the Greddy intercooler is taller than it is wide. Greddy front bumper probably has the tallest opening since you can see the crash bar through it. Top secret isn't very tall of an opening, K2 and kenstyle which are the same center openings are about the same as all the others.

Thanks man. The Greddy doesn't really suit my taste in terms of appearance. The Stillen and Kuruma Z are more in line with what I wouldn't mind seeing on the car.
Thanks for the info, though.

I have been happy with the KurumaZ bumper, and made over 600 RWHP on 93 octane using it. I will be using the same bumper for my new build, in which I expect to increaseR RWHP further. Indeed, I beleive XKR will be using the KurumaZ on his 1,000 RWHP beast he is building, I think he will be running C16 fuel, though.

I was talking to my installer today and we might be going with the APS TT Extreme kit. Ya got any closer pics of how their intercooler looks with that bumper?
Thanks!

Looks nice man. Definitely a sleeper. I think I'll get my intercooler painted (anodized) black as well. I want to keep mine a sleeper as much as possible. It's a shame your front plate comes down like that! I've just been cruising around with mine underneath my passenger seat for about a year now. I was pulled over by a cop once for doing 92 in a 55; he mentioned the plate but I told him I just had the bumper put on (so no ticket!)...other than that no cop has ever pulled me over for no front plate (DC, MD, WV, VA, PA). Knock on wood.

^ if you do sleeper then stay wit the bumper u have...and careful on the painting of the IC, don't want to defeat the purpose of deflect heat
