What turbo "upgrade" comes after the GT30's? I believe the APS Extreme kit comes with those as well.

Upgradability is always a good thing IMO. Mike, didn't you say you have the ability to go over 1000 whp with 2 GT35Rs

Correct....With the 4.0L Stroker , Cosworth Heads and twin GTM GT35r and whats being used on the car now.....1000+ will not be a problem.....But thats not the best part of it.....This setup will make over 700whp DD on pump gas

Sweet! You're running the Fcon right? How smooth is the ride and drive with these kind of power levels? And are you running R888s to capture some traction?

shdowflare....sorry for taking your thread OT....

I forgot to mention...HKS 1200cc injectors...

Very smooth.......F-con makes it run like stock......boost comes on real smooth. I am running Yokahama Advan Sport. FP will install the Racelogic traction control this go around. I want to be able to get better traction.

No worries on "taking" my thread. This is all great info. That GTM kit is looking really nicer and nicer the more you post. I like the ability to "upgrade" if I ever grow tired of 700whp. Having the GT30's in the APS Extreme kit should allow me to go pretty far with my HP/TQ goals (now and down the road). The GT30's, 880cc injectors and dual fuel rail/pump setup (along with the Haltech platinum) should allow me to get close to 1000whp I'd hope.

It looks like the "complete" GTM kit comes with only 600cc injectors so I'd have to buy the tuner package and get my own if I went with their product. Anyone know if the APS Extreme kit can be "upgraded" by dropping in the GT35r's, etc.? Or is the GTM kit the only one that's upgradeable in that manner?

^ I am doing an APS Extreme TT build as well. Not sure how upgradeable the kit is...but I would say if you want to get close to 1000whp I think you may have to upgrade to 1000+cc injectors. I do not think the standard issue APS Extreme 880cc injectors will support that.

This is true.....but for a safe 1000whp you will need 1200cc injectors. was running HKS 1000cc injectors for 800whp.....I now had to upgrade to 1200cc.

Wow, so any idea what kind power the 880cc injectors will actually bring? Here's a list of all the supporting mods I'll be installing:

Engine/Drivetrain - Wiseco 8.5:1 extreme-duty forged pistons, Cosworth connecting rods, ARP rod bolts, Brian Crower Stage 3 camshafts 272/272, Full 5-angle intake, exhaust, and combustion chamber port/polish by HeadGames, Nismo Racing oil pump, ARC oil pan, Bosch 1000cc injectors?, Koyo high-performance radiator, APS Extreme Twin-turbo kit with fuel dual fuel rail system and dual in-tank fuel pumps, Garrett GT30 twins, 5" vertical front-mount intercooler, Greddy blow-off valve, GReddy oil cooler, Carbonetics ATS triple-plate carbon clutch and flywheel, Cusco Type RS 1.5/2-way limited-slip differential, 3.3 final drive conversion from an automatic 350z

Ignition - Denso iridium racing spark plugs, Nismo spark plug wires

Engine Management - Haltech platinum PnP standalone EMS

Suspension - BC Racing (BR series) coilovers, Eibach rear camber/toe kit, Cusco A-arms

Wheels/Tires/Brakes - Custom widened OEM Ray's super lightweight forged aluminum wheels (19×9.5, front), (19×10.5, rear), Bridgestone Potenza S-O3 tires 275/30-19 (front), 305/30-19 (rear), StopTech BBK: six-piston front calipers, four-piston rear-calipers, 2-piece Aerorotors front and back, Goodrich stainless steel brake line kit, Axxiss Ultimate pads, Motul RBF600 racing fluid

Exterior/Interior - Kuruma Z front bumper, Impul side skirts, ChargeSpeed FRP vented hood, Inven roof spoiler, Defi boost, A/F, and oil/water temp gauge A-pillar

Also, I guess whatever injectors I choose, I'd still like to maintain decent driveability. Would 1000 or 1200cc injectors cause the car to become "difficult" to drive in stop-and-go, low-RPM daily driving? I realize the tune is key here, but just wondering how likely it would be that I can keep the car a daily driver with that size injectors. I'd like to be 1000+hp capable but still drive around town without much hassle. Is that too lofty a goal?

Thanks!

LMAO! Damn, guess I just need to read through my own threads a little more thoroughly...

This sounds good, wonder if a Haltech would produce the same driveability though...

No worries! Happens to me sometimes too From what I hear about the Haltech....I don't think it should be a problem.
