800cc on Utec

Question..

I’m in the process of looking to get the fuel system set up so now I’m looking around for injectors. I originally wanted to buy the DW 600cc injectors but I feel that I’m gonna run into problems later on down the road if I decide to increase boost.
So that said if I run DW 800cc would I have any problems tuning on the UTEC? How would the car run on idle ext..?

what kind of numbers are u looking to make? are u built block? The only issue is the UTEC can only take up to 750cc so the DW800 wont work with that piggyback.

I have some almost new RC650cc with clips for sale if u are interested. Check the FI or engine FS section.

I have a built block im lookin to be around 550- 600 rwhp. So what you are sayin the UTEC cant support DW800 only up to 750

yes that is correct.

650cc will be good for 550whp.

Over 450 whp I would upgrade ems.
Try go with stanalone that can control big injectors.

Edit: btw I have 600 injectors, too bad utec can not control at idle. I even have reflash ecu, but still gives me crap at idle. But no rfs.

its hard finding a tuner in my area that can tune Halitech, believe me that was my next option but I just gonna play it safe on the Utec for now until I feel conformable to go otherwise.

If your in MD you got quite a few Haltech tuners:

PF Supercars
AAM

If your in NY you have:
Performance motors
TheshopCT

but if you want to stick with the Utec
and need DW 600cc and already have DW 800cc
I might be able to do something for you.

I haven't brought any injectors yet but wanna make sure i get the right ones for my set up. I may just go ahead and get the DW600 and just be happy with the car as far as my power goals would be limited to what the turning can make happen. But in the mean time I will have to establish a sort of relations ship with other tuner shops to get a feel on going full standalone. You kinda get what I’m sayin.

BTW if you have a set of DW600cc pm me let me know what u workin with.
