I'm talking about the ones that come with that kit. Check out this link. Although it doesn't say which model of turbos comes with the extreme kit, it does have some good info on their turbines:

http://www.airpowersystems.com/350z/turbo/turbo.htm

I've emailed GTM to confirm the exact turbos they sell with their APS TT Extreme kits. I'll let you know what they say.

Plus the issues of the headers cracking from the weight of the turbo's can give anyone nightmares.

Not saying that APS support is any better but Greddy support is non existent

That last part is what has me afraid. There's only so much your tuner can do.

Please let me know what they end up saying.

I would not support APS given their bait and switch with their tuner kits. I am very disappointed with their business practices.

The Greddy 20G is a solid kit with no reliability issues whatsoever. Only the 18G turbos upgraded to 20G have had reported problems.

Today, I would pick the GTM kit.

The GTM kit seems to be the right choice for twins more and more everyday especially since the owners post on here all the time. Have you guys considered the Sound Performance kit as well?

He is talking about no one knew that APS had switched to a cheaper Chinese brand until a shop on here install a new kit and found out the kit would not make power. It took them a while to figure it out ....because this shop had install tons of these kits without this issue.....It was not until looking deeper into the numbers on the turbo that it was discovered that they were a crap brand.

I will only buy a kit that was made in the USA....may it be JWT, GTM, SFR, PL, SP ...just to name a few.....because when things go wrong ....and sometimes they do....I dont want to hear any BS !!!

Mike, how hard is it to find one of the older APS TT kits w/o the Chinese knock off turbos?

The Extreme Kit comes with the good turbo's. Its just the lower hp kit that has that issue.

If you are now going with the extreme kit....just stick with JWT, GTM, SFR,SP or PL...

^+1 The APS Extreme kit is the only way to go if you are going to use the APS kit.

Thanks for the clarification guys. That's good to know. I just noticed GTM has a stage 3 kit good for 1000whp too. How does that one compare to the APS Extreme TT or the Greddy 20G?

I wouldn't suggest the Greddy kit either for you though, since 800-1000 whp really isn't attainable with that kit.

I would suggest since you are local, to AAM's custom twin turbo setup. They'll be easily able to upgrade turbo's and what not, with their own kit to meet you top end whp goals.
The APS Extreme uses Garrett BB turbos. The Tuner kit does not.

The op is asking for a turbo to support 600whp+, not 800-1000whp. That said, the Greddy 20G or the GTM Stage 3 would be a nice fit.

Given his requirements, I would pick the GTM Stage 3 GT30 tuner kit.

Thanks for chiming in, Sharif. Sorry guys, let me clarify. I want the car to support up to 1000whp. But I really want to keep the boost levels down to run 450whp daily and 600+ when I'm feeling saucy. That said, I do want the capability to go up to 1000whp without dropping in many mods.

So that said, does GTM have a kit that can get me close to 1000whp, but be driven around 450whp on a daily basis?

Thanks!
B
