Vortech boost poll
I am taking a poll to see what boost level you guys are getting . Guys running Vortech WITH headers only please . Vortech says I am only getting 7lb's of boost because I am running headers . Ive changed to a smaller serp pulley and still only getting 7.6 lb's....I say I have a weak blower .Ive gone thru every thing to make sure there is no leaks and belts are tight . The more people I can get on the list with full 8lb's or better.....The better the argument I will have...thx...Bill

Re: Vortech boost poll
i dont thinkya really wanna know boog....
im VERY impressed with the lightening spool-up now, and the double digit boost AT ONLY 6K.........

also, ¼" farther away from the compressor housing, so less heatsoak on the belt!!

Scott, I'm frankly SHOCKED that you are handy enough to replace the pulleys, create a special filter for your BOV, a CC filter (or whatever that thing is) but you don't dare to do your own tuning... (just giving you a hard time).
BTW, what exactly is involved in replacing the jackshaft pulley. Can you just unscrew that front nut?

Re: Vortech boost poll
Yep Zimbo...Getting the 3.33 takes ..loosening the the top three blower bolts and prying the blower over far enough to get the 3.33 off . But after that getting the smaller pulleys on and off is a breeze
