My turn now...thanks to Forged Performance.

Hey all. I've decided to take the first step into boosting my baby and I'm letting Sharif and his crew at Forged Performance do the work. After being in Iraq for the past several months and having my G since '05, I've been wanting to throw some boost in the car. Now I've saved up and did research to find a reputable tuner/builder.

Just a breakdown of what I'm getting now.

Forged S1 block
GTM Stg 3 tuner kit
Complete F-con w/ knock amp
EVC6
Fuel system
stg 4 clutch

This will be stage 1. I'm looking at headwork, cams, cooling, rear diff, brakes, wheels, and body to follow.

My major focus for stage 1 was to get the major work for high power done up front and staying with a modest tune and low boost. That way adding more power later won't be as labor intensive. Sharif helped me decide on what was viable and help me stay with-in my ever fluctuating budget. I hope to see my baby when i get back in January with some sweet power.

Wanted to thank everyone one on the forums, both g35driver and my350z, for all the posts and information. It helped a lot in deciding what direction I wanted to go.

You picked the right shop.

Only thing I would recommend is doing cams now while the motor is out (reasonable bang for the buck). Either way, congrats!!!

+1 while its apart I would do the head work and cams instead of tearing it apart again down the road to do it.

thanks for the recommendations. I've been considering it, the cams at least. I'm still trying to within my budget and we've squeezed everything we can into that.

Just an update. I added S7 cams, stage II stoptech upgrade kit, oil cooler, koyo, and camp2 system. Thanks for the recommendations. FP should start the work soon, they have my short block assembled and the kit in. Looking forward to it
