Sorry if this question has been answered already (although I have searched and couldn't find the answer).

I just picked up an '06 G35x and after much thought and deliberation, want to go vortech. I am not new to mechanics and have been building engines for over 10 years, but the world of S/C is new to me.

My question is (please no flaming ); what Vortech kit (model #) can be used on the '06 G35x? Are there modifications required to the kit to get it to work with the G35x?

I know xman did this with his '04 G35x, but the differences between the '04 and the '06 are unknown to me.

Any help from members would be truly appreciated. I am looking to do the work over this coming winter and will be having a local guy tune it for me when it's complete. A friend of mine, who works with a local performance shop, will be ordering the kit for me (at dealer cost )

I am just not sure if the Vortech kit for a non "x" model will work with the "x" model G35. It is difficult to get any information from Vortech because they don't support automatic transmissions.

RevUp or not? I think this is the main factor, and the only diff is the mounting bracket.
