What size turbo?

I've been reading most of these forums on turbos and no one talks about different sizes. Does it really matter what size you get? Im looking between 350-400hp. Everything is completely stock in my G, do i just need to get a trans cooler and a valve body upgrade? What kind of pricing am i looking at to get all that done?

Read the "forced induction for noobs" sticky thread. Size always matters.

The more power you want, the more lag ( time it takes to make meaningfull amounts of boost ) you'll get. You need to find the balance that is right for you.

Essentially, you want the smallest turbos that will give you the power that you want. Smaller turbos spool up faster and have less turbo lag. If I were only looking for 400 whp, I would look at the small JWT kit, the PE kit or the GTM stage 1 kit (with the lower A/R).

If you think that you are likely to want more hp in the future, in which case you will need a built short block, then you might consider going with something bigger.
