vortech supercharger goingg badd

after 30k miles.. i think my blower is finally going bad.. my blower is squeeling like crazy.. i took it to a shop around here and he told me the bearing is going bad.. im not sure what i need to do to fix this.. i think i am plan on taking off my supercharger kit and maybe going twin turbo.. my question is.. how much will vortech charge me to rebuild my blower?? right now i am driving without the cog pulley so my blower is not spinning.. is it safe to drive like this for a while??

yes it's fine to drive like that and it will cost 500 to rebuild it.

The affordable thing would be to replace the bearings but a twin turbo set up would be nice too...

maybe it's the jackshaft bearing? which is like $20 and most mechanic can replace.

just rebuild it through vortech so they can supply you with some sort of warranty if it were to happen again

^^ +1 I'd have Vortech do it also. My ProCharger is going in to get rebuilt sometime around Nov. It's around $600 for that. So depending on what they do (don't let 'em **** ya, like if you don't need or want a new impeller, don't let them sell you one).

Soo looks like you're around $400-600... without shipping.
