With someone who just had this done and has done EXTENSIVE research, you'll need the following:

1. Vortech Tuner Kit
2. New Injectors (440cc minimum) - I went with DW 600's
3. Walbro Fuel Pump lph255
4. High Flow Cats or Race Pipes (Stock CATs are NO GOOD!)
5. 1-Step Colder Plugs
6. Engine Management (like Osiris etc...)

RECOMMENDED:

1. 3.12 pulley (will give 10psi boost)
2. A/F Wideband Gauge, Boost Gauge (Oil gauges if you are using blower that shares engine oil )

One of the most important things that I overlooked initially, was the need for the High Flow Cats. The engine is tuned rather rich for FI and it just kills and clogs up your stock cats. So you need to dump them.

My car is finally to the point where I'm really happy and i'm producing about 410rwhp with a Vortech (with above mods) using the 3.12 pulley.

Also, i've been told the 440 cc injectors are good to at least 400whp.

Oh, and if you already have a plenum spacer, get rid of it. These tend to leak when the manifold is under pressure (boost), so they are typically only good for NA vehicles.

Cool. If you're from Jersey, than definitely check out JT Performance in wilmington, DE. They do the Uprev tune and are very good at what they do.

Isn't 410 HP kinda pushing it for a stock block? Also wouldn't you need an oil
and tranny cooler? Or am I getting confused with a turbo set up......

^depends on how "safe" you want it to be.. eventhough Fi is a roll of the dice. you can get a tranny cooler but its personal preference. and the 410whp # is fine, it just depends on the tune, imo i think 410whp on a vortech would be "more reliable" than a 410whp turbo tune.. it just depends on how good the tune is
