will i regret not building my shortblock when i install my twin turbo??

my question is will i regret not building my shortblock when i install my twin turbo. I plan on building my shortblock down the road.. my hp goal eventually is 600.. but right now im thinking about just installing the twin turbo on my car and build the shortblock later.. i have 60k miles on my car.. i was wondering if my stock engine can hold the twin turbo kit for at least another 30k miles.. i had vortech on my car for about 30k miles.. so my cars been FIed for a while now.. if i build my shortblock now i am saving money on my twin turbo install and i dont have to have my motor pulled in the future.. so a 2k saving in the long run.. what do you guys think??

Short block now, or just keep the Vortech until you had everything. Why do the same step twice?

If you can afford to do it now, I would do it and bypass the down time twice, the tune, twice, the install twice etc... It will more than 2 grand in wasted money, which is almost paying for your shortblock.

Your goal is 600HP...its a must for those power goals. So if I were you I would just build you motor and get it over with.

run your car the way it is now, buy a used shortblock and have that "built" in the meantime. when the time comes just do a complete swap

depends on your situation. I was in your same shoes. i had a vortec for a long time, then got a tt kit and planned on doing a built motor at the same time. I do all my work and love taking this apart and putting them back together. so one day i decided to pull the engine and put the tt kit on the stock block till i finish my built motor. if you're paying someone to do all the work for you, get it all done at once. its totally relative to what your situation is like.

If your goal is 600whp build your block and heads first. Then have everything installed and tuned once. Having my twins on the stock block always worried me. Even at low boost.

With your goals, do it all now. Its going to be more than a 2k difference, unless you do it at home. Do it all, then when you get to feel 600 vs the vortec setup it will be that much more of a difference.

I voted for all at one time as it is less headache and less worry when pushing the car hard, you never know when it will let go.

600hp is a lot for daily driving I mean I never even use the power I have
