Can't tell by your location, but if you're close to the Midwest, I had a place in Cincinnati rebuilt one of my turbos and it cost me a little over $340 for a rebuild and used impeller.

The impeller should be swappable between turbos and and your charger, might even be a good time to think about upgrading your trim as well. That one DEFINITELY NEEDS TO BE REPLACED, looks like he tried to sharpen a pencil with it.

Supercharger impellers and turbo impellers are not swappable. Considering that supercharger impellers are more rare, I'd say that you're going to have to just buy a new impeller.

@RCBAN.
I don’t know what everyone else is telling you but I can tell you from personal experience (my old Procharger is at ATI right now.) My impeller looked like that and I pushed on. It didn’t damage the bearings but it did increase the shaft play which caused the impeller to rub against the casing. $300 repair, yea right! Try 1K! and mine wasn’t that bad. ATI would charge you a arm and a leg if they could. I say send the damn thing back and buy mine I’ll charge you half the price he did!

Thanks for the offer Inshallah but sent it to procharger pretty quick before I noticed your post and you are right they are charging me $750-1000 plus $85 diagnostic fee. This was the kit recently up for sale by Exp_626. I asked every question possible prior to making a deal and also looked at a ton of pictures with the head unit positioned in a way not to see the impellar. Exp stated that I am on my own because I bought a used kit that was working when it was pulled off" - Ok maybe i didnt ask about the impellar but man it was kind of sneaky on his part don't you think

Funk yea! that's messed up bro! If it was funked up he knew it because when my impeller was jacked up you could hear it at idle. My system sounded like ninjas having a sword fight under my hood.

I swear that ATI is a company that is directly correlated or owned by Bernie Madoff. Their FMIC are outrageous also. I found a place that sells the exact same one for $199.00 with free shipping.

Hey Guys, Lets say I get the blower fixed - I tried searching but couldnt find much info - Is there a fix like a filter or screen or something to prevent this from happening again - this problem seems to be common with this unit. All I could find was one post saying a makeshift filter can be used but procharger does not recommend it due to the blower not taking in enough air

This happens most of the time because the bearing wears out, gets some play, and the impeller blades scrape and bend against the side. No filter will prevent that. If the guy only had such little mileage I'm suprised that's what happened, maybe oil wasn't routed right or using too aggressive of pulley.
