blow through MAF issues

to keep it short and sweet. Im looking for an aftermarket blow through MAF because i maxed the stock one out to day while getting tuned.

04 g35, vortech sc with 5psi making 350whp 310tq with a maxed out maf.

MAF needs to be bigger because once its maxed out it starts pulling fuel at high rpm...which is bad.

any help would be great.

Interesting. I am not maxing out mine and I am at 6lbs making 375whp and 361wtq. When I had my first tune, running 10lbs making 425whp and 413wtq, I was maxing out my MAF and my fuel. We detuned it in order to save both systems for a future build.

Can it be your tune or your tuner? Might be something to look into to see what the engine management is saying what volts its pushing (if I remember that being what it is measured in... I am not a mechanic by trade, but have been in and out engine bays for years, mostly hot rods. This is my first import and first turbo build)

MAF will max out long before 400+WHP. Either you were maxed and didn't know it, or your dyno reads really really high. It's possible to still make power after the MAF maxes out, just not safely. A fuel return system goes a long way in this regard.

My MAF maxes out by 4000 rpm at 6psi on my twin setup, this is stated both in the TurboXS UTEC manual and verified through my datalogs. 350whp (dynojet) has long been established as the maximum you really want to go on the stock MAF (without any supporting mods like a MAP sensor on a UTEC). My MAP takes over after 4psi.
