The kit puts out plenty of power. Therefore I would say, yeah im worried about the sound as well.

I don't really think I notice the lope like a push rod motor

Here is a vid with the S1 cams and open dumps i ran it like that for a few days until I had time to get the exhaust mated with the custom down pipes. I don't have any vids with the C2s yet ...I lied I have a dyno vid i will see if I can find it.

Here it is on the dyno with the C2s and a full exhaust you can hear the idle after the run its the best I can do for you right now!

The S2 have slightly higher lift, slightly less duration. Idle is like stock; in fact these were designed to fix idle issues with the S1 on cars with no aftermarket EMS or ability to change idle rpms.

They give their last hoorah around 6500 rpms and then fall flat. It's great for a street cam though with very nice midrange.

they do fall at 6500 - however, they still end with higher hp than OEM... (at lest on my car they do)...

The JWT "C" series cams perform pretty well up to 7500 rpm. I had the C2s and they worked great. I'm going with the C8's on rev. 2 of my build. As noted, you should use the JWT springs for the "C" series cams, but they are fairly inexpensive.

If you look around, it is NOT recommended (or worth while) to do cams unless you are building the motor.

Search for a while, here or my350z.com for a response.
I've been considering cams to try to flatten out power above 6500 on my stock block build. I'm not looking to make MORE power, just trying to continue to make the SAME power above 6500 to help with the 1/4 times, ect.

Would you guys still recommend against this?
