difference between revup and non revup

I'm interested in going with forced induction. I have been looking at different kits for sale and and am still debating between supercharger or turbo but that's not what I'm here to discuss.

I see kits that are "revup" and others which are "non revup" I want to know what is the difference between the 2 different levels. I've tried searching and i can't find any information on what is specifically different.

What I assume is that the only difference is the actual programming in the system. to my knowledge revup and non revup motors don't vary in dimension or have things mounted in different locations but they jsut have parts that are better performing. for example the intake plenum is in the same spot on both versions just the the internals of it are different, the throttle body is still in the same place and it has the same mounting bolts.

I plan on using my own piggyback or standalone fuel management when I go with FI. for example not the black box that comes with the Vortech supercharger but something like a UTEC with a Map sensor or something of that nature. Since I wont be using the programming that comes with the kit can I install a revup kit on a non revup motor?

There are actual differences in the revup and non revup kits. Only different parts are the COG Pulley, Charger pulley, mounting plate and belt length.

You CANNOT install a revup kit on a nonrevup motor. All the parts to interchange the two kits are about $700-$800.

If you need a Vortech kit we sell them as well as any other needed parts. We also currently have a UTEC off our shop G35 for sale, only $500 + shipping.

If you want to go FI and have something reliable but still capable of great numbers, Vortech is HANDS DOWN the way you will want to go.
