Need Help :)

Hey i Recently crashed my g35 and totalled it
but good news is i am fully covered and in the process of gettting a new one.
i found an 06 at a nice price.
it has 34,xxx miles for about 20 k but it has:
bodykit
after market dual exhaust system
hks highsuction kit
and a short shifter
and an aftermarket clutch.

its sketch why its so cheap and i am wondering with all the aftermarket stuff if he ran it hard and raced it. and if its possible that he had previously had forced induction installed. and if its possible to tell if he did.

i had an 04 which i believe has more torque than the 06's and the whole REVhard or mrev stuff(not exactly sure :/) sorry if im mistaken. but i test drove this car and it drove nice but the gas pedal didnt seem as touchy and torqy as my old car.

any advice? or comments on what i should look out for?

Sorry for my stupidity (i tryed searching for about an hour and i havent found anything :/)

thank you for your time fellow g owners it is very much appreciated

this is in the wrong forum.

and "all" the aftermarket stuff you think makes him a racer is just piddly stuff and almost nothing for aftermarket parts.

wtf is an "hks high suction kit"? i think someone's making up stuff on you.

the high suction kit is what HKS names their intake. I'm not sure if it is a short ram or a cai, but the filter elements aren't that great.

For my HKS SC, HKS recommends changing out the element every 1300-1900 miles for performance and filtration!! they are $20 for replacement, but a cai location requires a bit of work to get to the filter to swap out the element.

As far as your concerns for your car of interest, is this a private party seller or a dealership? If it's a dealership, ask for service records/used car inspection. If 3rd party, have the car checked out by a mechanic for your peace of mind.

I don't think that $20k for an 06 with 36k is sketch-sounds about right--check nada or kbb to be sure.

Could be legit, price doesn't sound that bad. Any idea what clutch it has in it?
