Ive got a 06 Coupe 6MT that im looking at boosting Im not looking to build the motor, so my power level from what ive read on here to be safe should be 400rwhp, couple of kits have caught my eye like the g35r powerlab and this sts kit looks to be the safest and easiest to install... but theres no INFO on them was wondering if anyone could point me the right way? ive already contacted sts about there setup on the 350z... Im kinda looking for someone that's done this build and their numbers, along with what all is upgraded

There are a few people on the My350Z forum with this PL GT35R kit. I would PM them.

400 whp does not appear to be a problem with this kit on pump gas. Getting to 500 whp does on anything other than a Dynojet dyno.

Long story short, james12345pt has the kit on a 2006 G35 and is looking to get beyond 500 whp. He is looking to upgrade. Since you are only looking for 400 whp, perhaps you can work out a deal with him to purchase his turbo or kit so that he can upgrade. It may turn out to be a win-win situation.

This may be another option:
http://my350z.com/forum/forced-induc...nd-review.html

Installed:

Wit this set up you can run a large T4 turbo, and the T4 PT 6765 fits up there just fine. This turbo has made over 800whp on supras with E85.

No ground clearance issues, and that car is lowered.

Very clean. How is the turbo lag with the rear mounted turbo?

It's not a rear mount, more like mid mount. There is less exhaust piping to the turbo with this kit than with the Powerlab/Turbonetics, so lag is minimal. I get 9psi at 3500rpm with a large journal bearing T4 6262.

The down pipe is also significantly shorter as well, helping with top end.

Simply curious what a kit like this would run? Any links to install pics? I'm a turbo noob. Would love to make an '06 sedan a nice sleeper.

I recently purchased the PL GT35R kit for my "06 Coupe 6MT" as well and I must say for what I originally wanted the kit did what I wanted it to do... Now im a boost junkie n what more power so I plan on building the motor and goin for big numbers and unfortunately the PL GT35R will be my limiting factor.
If this is something you're seriously looking into purchasing i'll prolly sell you my kit thas only got like 1k miles on it so far... My numbers on a conservative tune on a Mustang Dyno was 420/370.

Hopefully if he's serious he can buy mine.. It seems james12345pt is lookin at other options to squeeze a lil more outta his set-up
