Well a clutch is actually rated for TQ. So have to find out what TQ that clutch is capable of holding. you can have your tune softened (less timing at tq peak) to help save the clutch and still have the power up top.

Southbend was the only clutch I have found at this point that was a single disk still capable of holding serious power.
So find out what the ACT can hold. If you can change clutch fairly easily (sau in 3-4 hours) then go until the ACT is done and put in something else.

Maybe in the 500-550ft/lb range but with 630ft/lbs my Invos in that size fought to keep traction at the top of 3rd gear the a$$ end of the car would always feel like it was "floating" although at my street tune 530ft/lbs the invos are great and the traction is exellent. After seeing Toms luck with the 305 DRs I might go to that next when you start getting in the mid to upper 600s in torque street compounds just can't put the power down.

Congrats on the new set up Tom, if your set up was obsolite I might as well quit and start over now

I never tried the INVO's but I think Sylvan is right on track with where their limits lay.

The Z06 guys love them, but once you get beyond that power you are certainly going to have issues.

As much as people don't want to admit it, at some point (I'd say 550ft/lb too) you have to go to a really sticky tire (i.e. DR, R888, N1, etc)
