CT turbo install

All Connecticut and NY turbo G's, where did you have your turbo installed and roughly how much did you spend? I am looking for a reputable shop that will do the job right. I'll be willing to drive to NY if I have to. I need a shop that is all about business and won't have my car sitting around for weeks. Also just a question on a turbonetics kit what can one expect for 0-60 and quarter mile time running 8" boost. I thinking mid to high 12's if I'm not mistaken in the quarter.

Please do more research... Turbonetics kit is one of the worst out there.

I am not from your area, but I would like to share a turbonectics story with you. Here is my build threads with plenty of pics, youtube vids on the dyno, and all the troubles I had with Turbonectics. I am not trying to scare you away from there, but I do want you to be informed of how the company can treat you.

Good luck with your build. I would disclose my build cost, but I am sponsered by Slowmotion Motorsports so my price would not be realistic. As for the build time, it took three weeks during the winter. But the rebuilds and diagnostic of the turbo issues took over 5 months.

The Turbonectics kit is pretty good, its their turbos that are low quality. Mine is a Turbonectics ST kit but now is powered by a Garrett T/3 60-1, with a custom downpipe and modified intake and intercoolers tubes.

for single go powerlab. No need to butcher a kit up, it fits/works out of the box.

go search and come down to VinnyTenRacing. Look at the number of local Z/G guys still driving their Turbonetics turbos daily driven for over 4 years on a stock block still.

I have no experience with their own turbos, but I do have a hybrid Garrett T-28 on my SR20DET that I got from Reggie Wynn at Turbonetics. I've had no issues whatsoever with it in 6+ years. IMO, they are capable of doing fine work.

http://my350z.com/forum/forced-induc...plete-kit.html

As far as installer you have

www.Atxmotorsports.com in NJ
Vinnyten in Long Island
and you have a local guy that has experience doing motors and turbo kits in CT he is listed in the northeast mechanic section

turn around time will be good, and work is clean. what r u using to tune it just a reflash?
i highly suggest a utec or haltec. the shop dose a good job at tuning vq's. if you wanna stop down at my shop and take a ride in my turbonetcs g feel free to pm me.
