possible to use stillen sc with stock hood?

possible to use stillen sc with stock hood?

im interested in possibly getting a stillen sc and was wondering if there was any way for it to work with a stock hood? if not how much extra clearance is needed. thanks

If it is possible i have never seen it - i am fairly certain it isn't - that's why they make their hood for it.

although with the right amount of $$ anything is possible...

OP....as Superchargedg has said.... it won't fit .... But why are you going with the Stillen? You should PM "superchargedg" and get all the info you can on why ore why not to buy this system.

Last I read if you use the stage 1 (no intercooler) you can use the stock hood. But the stage one is only claimed to add I think 50hp about. so not worth it.

The stillen supercharger is just like the ones you see on 03-04 cobras.....you WILL need to either get the stillen hood..or cut out a hole in your stock hood...

Sp wrong as the ic has nothing to do with the hood....its that m62 blower sitting on top of the engine that needs the hood for clearence.


And to the OP dont waist your money on this non power making kit.

+ fiddy...my friend has the stage 2...it didn't seem much faster then my car..and I only have a pop charger, z-tube, plenum spacer, HKS exhaust, and HFC's
