How come forced induction forum so dead?

Well aside from the obvious, i know that the g35 was more suited towards the older crowd and such..but everytime i am looking up information for turbos, i always see myself going back to my350z.com. I know there HAS to be more people interested in the next level of engine upgrades on g35driver! or maybe you all are just shy =)

The way the car is marketed...oh and the fact turbos cost your first born child + tax.

:P

Edit: Not to say I wouldnt turbo if I could...I just cant afford it...and the fact that the car is my dads and not mine doesnt help

I usually go to my350z for more technical discussion as most of it still applies to the G35. Except that my350z seems to be down every other day.

Maybe turbO should change his name... YOU'RE NOTHING BUT A BIG PHONEY!!!! PHONEY turbO IS A BIG PHONEY!!!!
nah, just pulling your chain.

I think most of the FI guys use 350z more than here is because 350z seems to be more of a technical forum... Plus, I think, since it's the same engine, we like to see what more people havet to say about their FI engines. You know, since both G and Z drivers post there.

There are several of us on the board who have FI. Most of us do most of our discussion on the Z board--but only because there are more FI folks with which to compare notes.

If you have any specific questions, lemme know. I have the PE kit on my car, BTW.

Re: How come forced induction forum so dead?

yo Jerome....PM me your cell number again..i lost it =( ... but yea...it should be coming in by the end of the month. I already bought my rods and just need to buy the pistons, etc. and the short block. My plan is to turbo the stock motor while the second block is being built.

hey mdnt...did you bolt it on without tuning out of the box? it should be at 5 psi right...are u planning to add your blow off valve soon?

Re: How come forced induction forum so dead?

correct is it running slightly under 5psi ... no tuning has been done as of yet .. still need to find out what has come out for the G35 as far as the ECU ... only thing i know that is out is the ECU flash, but I would like to get a stand alone or a piggy back that can do more then just fuel ... waiting for my rod, pistons, cams, head bolts, down pipes, y pipe, or maybe i'll just replace my RSR and put on the Injun, and a few other things. The BOV should be welded on soon once the other parts come in.
