Re: TURBO
VQ not turo friendly? i thought the skyine gt-r came twin turboed stock? and ive heard that the skyline gt-r is one of the most tuned cars in Japan to date? i mean, u dont just seen 1200 hp skylines in car magazines for nothing. besides, lets just wait fr the nism/infiniti spec-r twin turbos. someone in theseforums already heard they will have a twin turbo for the coupe that puts out 420hp. of course it will NOT void the warranty cause it is NISMO

Re: TURBO
A supercharger may not be better. It depends on whether it is the roots type or centrifugal. The vortech supercharges are centrifugal and they are very peaky in their power delivery. Turbochargers will give you a torque number that is much lower in the RPM range. Having a twin turbocharged setup will result in almost instantaneous boost depending on the size of the turbochargers and mods you have done.

Re: TURBO
It all depends. Is Stillen designing a roots blower kit? If not then the powerband will suck compared to twin turbos. Just an example. The Audi S4 has a peak torqe at 1850RPM and holds it strongly all the way to 5000RPM. That's pretty damn impressive if you ask me. It all depends on the size of turbos you are using.

Re: TURBO
So....anyone know how far NISMO is on their turbo development? Considering how similar the 350Z and G35C are, I wonder if they are developing a system for both vehicles? A turbo'd G35C would definately give the M3 a run for it's money (price-wise and performance-wise). Since the 350Z convertible is slated for a summer or fall release, Nissan may not release a turbo for another year. But, who knows....
