I have the Arias pistons (9.0:1) and the pauter rods both on order.

If I get the Greddy kit will I need to change or add anything else ?

I might send my TC to Edge for an upgrade but not sure.

Re: Greddy TT kit info

you will prolly want a valve body upgrade as well with that tc upgrade. there are several things that can be done to increase your numbers. one thing you will want to look into with that tc upgrade is a tranny cooler now cause it is goint o run hotter. on the subject of cooling you might want to look into other ways to cool your car off more.

hopefully other will chime in here cause i dont know too much about the subject and need to do somemore learning myself.

stillen makes one as well as (i think) level ten. check out gspot35's group buy on both of them on my350z.

Re: Greddy TT kit info

If you intend to get payback in power from the lower CR you will need to raise the boost. If you raise the boost beyond ~8psi you need to upgrade the base Greddy fuel system (ie. larger injectors and high flow fuel pump). A BOV is also a needed to safely vnet the higher boost. And of course the commensurate re-tune. If you don't intend to raise the boost then you shouldn't be dropping the static CR.

Re: Greddy TT kit info

I want to boost it 7 - 7.5 psi
more boost would be better but not sure about the auto tranny keeping up to that much power.

Re: Greddy TT kit info

Will I need to upgrade the fuel pump if I don't go more than 7psi ?

Right now I am running 7 pds, about to add Walbro pump and return line so I can raise to 8 - 9 lb range.

Re: Greddy TT kit info

just use the manual shift mode.

I've searched around and there isnt a kit that can even hope to touch the price of a GReddy. I mean I hear there are some defficiencies in the kit but with the money u save I'm pretty sure they are easily fixable and even with installation it comes out cheaper than the APS or PE Kit. They have superb quality but I dont think the GReddy is that much less. But if there are some really bad issues with the kit, please list.
