Re: Nitrous on the G!

Are you asking how much additional HP you get from a 100-Shot? If so, then let me ask you a question: If you have 287 apples in a barrel and you add 100 more, how many apples do you have in the barrel? You have 100 more!

Yes, I'm being somewhat of a smart-a$$. Sorry, but...

Yes, I would also advise keeping your N2O shot down to 75. At a 75-shot, your car can pretty well manage ignition timing and fuel delivery with the stock ECU. When you exceed a 75-shot, you exceed the car's ability to adapt/adjust timing and fuel delivery with the stock ECU. Over 75, and you certainly need the benefits of special aftermarket parts and tuning to keep everything together.

Re: Nitrous on the G!

agree.. stick with the 75 shot unless you plan on doing ECU work and possibly also getting a bigger fuel pump. You should be fine with the 75..

Re: Nitrous on the G!

If you dig, there are a few guys safely running 125 and beyond. I decided to go with 125. I started with 75 and it wasn't enough frankly. I haven't yet run my car with the 125 shot however. It really is important to have the car running perfectly to prevent any problems such as detonation from running lean.

It is a good idea, however to start with something small like the 75 shot to get the feel for what nitrous can do.

Re: Nitrous on the G!

That is correct. You will get a better distribution BUT, you will have to drill into your plenum, you cant have a "stealth" set up, its more expensive and it is recommended tipically for higher shots 150 plus. and if you are going to shot that high of nitrous, you better start looking at built internals..
even more cash!
if you want it for looks and have the extra cash and dont mind having it exposed to everyone, then do it
