He has no knowledge of the car, and neither do you. That is recipe for failure.

I don't care how illiterate you are when it comes to buying a modified used car... he should know what EMS and if the engine is built. Bottom line. That's it.

The mileage thing and not following forum rules along with his story about why selling isn't matching up.

I'll wait for him to follow up with a piece of paper showing his username and current date in the pics before going any further.

I live in WA now and was gonna fly down to LA under assumption
that everything was good and buy the car and drive it back to WA.

I know I sound harsh... most of my posts come out that way.

I wish you could get the car, I do. Owning an FI G is great times, a lot of fun, but a lot of responsibility. It's not you I'm worried about at all... but this guy does seem shady.

With such few posts and the way he's got this deal set up... he's going to have to prove he is for real and that he owns this car.

Thats why I said if he plays ball and does what he's supposed to, you can start to next step of this deal... which is finding out who owned it previously and getting the history of this car.

suspicion is growing bigger and bigger

Ouch, I’m getting 18mpg with mixed driving; I’m on stock block with PowerLab single turbo and ProEFI 48 EMS. I was a little disappointed by 18mpg too.
