Looks like I'll be joining you guys

Well, I finally have a winter car now, so FI on my G35 is now third on my list. Right now Im having a clutch/flywheel/pressureplate high speed balanced to go on. Next up is rims. So that leaves next springs car money going to some form of F/I. Opinions (budget for the project is about 8-8.5K including labor and tuning, I think this should be enough but what is everyone elses experience?) on a kit would be appreciated, and I seem to be looking at the Vortech S/C the most heavily. TT would negate some of the mods I've paid so much for (namly the headers) so I've been drifitng away from the TT kits. Also, I'm going to be adding the Nismo bumper that I have in the garage next spring. I've noticed the JWT dual single core intercooler setup seems to be designed to mate with the stock air holes in the bumper. The Nismo holes match position, but differ in size (slightly larger at all curves). Would it be possible to mimic this intercooler setup going with a differnt F/I kit and about how pricey would something like this be? Thanks.

More mods to come....stay tuned.

Look at a single turbo kit that pipes the catalytic converter. Nice setup.

well so far my twin turbo kit cost around $7k alone..typical installations run about $1200-$1500...consider turbo timer (70-100), blow-off valve (150-250), exhaust (varies) and other small things like meters, etc.

if you're planning to build the internals, this is where it gets really expensive!! ECU, rods, pistons, machine shop labor, etc. etc. buuut that's another story =)

Although if installing the turbo straight out of the box...i say at least expect 9k-10k with labor extra parts and everything unless u have a hookup.
