Single or twin turbo????????

Right now i'm running a vortech sc. Right now i'm in the process of putting together a game plan on building my motor. Don't know if i'm goin to keep the sc or go turbo. Ok so if i decided to go turbo, i want to hear what all you think. Single or twin????? And what is a good system that is reliable (and also of course sounds good) any input would be great!!!! Thank everyone

Use the search option. Youre not the first person to ask. It will save you some trouble. Also the best people to ask about this is the shop tgat will be doing your work. Not sure why you would switch it up if youve gone supercharged

Thank you for the info. I use to be in the PSCA back in 2003. 347 with ys trim vortech, on a ls with 28 psi. Best time was 9.68 @ 141. Three bar map sensor took a dive on race day. Just was looking for info to humor some of my friends when I walk by on a six banger!!! My dad worked for nissan for 30± years. His thing was 240z with triple webers. Thanks again.

To get to 600hp you'll need a lot more than just a built block. All the supporting mods will cost more than the turbo setup. Supporting mods like fuel, ecu, etc.

buying the turbo kit is the cheap part.

My vote is twin.

On a 3.5L motor, with the air flow we need and the boost levels we run, the compressor efficiency on a twin turbo setup will be higher than a single turbo setup. This means that the intake air temperature will be lower, which is always good. Twin turbo setups cost more money, though.
