i keep finding these cheap plastic pods... can anyone direct me to something of nice quality ?

+1... have a auto restoration place wrap it or any furniture folks should be able to do it too.

What were you hoping to find one made out of

aluminum, wood

they are all plastic you could get a custom one made out of carbon fiber but most guys get plastic and have them wrapped in fabric.

also those a pillar pods dont fit 100% and it's the reason why I ditched the cheap ricer look for the HKS CAMP2.

i got the autometer one and it actually fit perfect i dont know if their all like that though or i just got lucky. i would just get it and have it redone in something that looks like the stock material
