HKS supercharger for G35
Just to share some information. I don't know when it will be available for the US market but in Taiwan the first HKS supercharger installed G35 auto sedan will be done at local HKS with Japan HKS technicians flying in for both potential buyers demonstration and internal education in mid-November. It fits both sedan and coupe, auto and manual. And contrary to what most people said it is in fact tunable (but probably not in the US?) All HKS supercharger installed cars in Taiwan will be tuned with dyno. They said it is necessary because of different mod, local fuel, temperature, humidity. The kit is good for >480rwhp but without engine internal build it is not recommeded to tune up. I guess it is a good news for all G35 owners!

Hks
Not to bash HKS because they are known for their good products and customer service but SpeedRacer over on my350z.com has had nothing but problems with his HKS blower. He first got a defective one and then when he got his new one he said he had all sorts of problems and finally decided to just take it off. Hopefully that was just a lemon, well I guess two lemons he got? Just wanted to give a heads up to those who haven't read his posts on the other boards. I'm not sure if he's the only one with problems but I think so.

Very true. There are many problems about HKS supercharger reported on 350Z forum. My take is that HKS should never be considered an out-of-box solution because there is no such thing. Hardware wise is not a problem but engine tuning is the key. When you put on a supercharger the margin for error (tolerance) is greatly reduced. Then consider the environment is different for everyone (humidity, temperature, altitude, gas, etc), only talor made tuning can ensure things work for you. If I am going to get a most hassle free supercharger (in fact no one is), HKS is still my top pick. But only when I can get a HKS pro dealer to tune my car before I drive it.

hello,
we're an hks pro dealer. per HKS, they have never sold a G35 specific kit. also, the kit for the coupe will be available (estimate) by the end of february. it will be carb certified. dyno numbers are currently not available, but they are saying that it will be similar, if not better than the 350Z. furthermore, at this time, they have no plans on releasing a kit for the sedan. if someone has an HKS kit on their sedan, or their coupe right now, it's a modified 350Z kit. jon kuriyama (head r&d HKS USA) and HKS engineers from Japan r&d'd it on the sedan, and decided not to go ahead with the production. hope this clears things up.
