Check the weight on that motor. The last Nissan V-8 I looked at was somewhere around 190 lbs. heavier than the VQ35DE. If you are only looking for straight line accelleration, that would be OK, but it would make the G more nose heavy and throw off the handling. The LS3 is about 100 lbs. heavier than the VQ35DE if I remember correctly.
